Remove DRM from an Audio File!!

Hi Friends,

This is my first post. So, If anything goes wrong kindly excuse me.

Well, DRM stands for Digital Rights Management. It is used to protect digital media from illegally copying or editing and we are required to download a license to play that file (which prohibits us from copying the file). I found a very simple way of removing it (but the condition is we should be able to play that file).

So here are the steps to be followed:-

  • First of all we will burn an Audio CD image of that file containing DRM with Nero Burning Rom or any other software.
  • After that we will load the image with Daemon Tools or any Virtual Image Drive.
  • Now when we have loaded the image we will rip the Audio CD with Windows Media Player or any other player capable of ripping Audio CD’s. The resultant file will be free from DRM.

In the above mentioned scene, we were able to play the file but in some cases we are not able to do that. So for our rescue some softwares are there, like SoundTaxi and many more are available.
